College: Outstanding four year career at the Naval Academy where he was a workhorse midfielder for the midshipmen recording 207 groundballs on his career - Only the second player in the history of the Naval Academy to acomplish that feat. Was selected as an Honorable Mention All American, and to the Patriot League's 2nd Team after as senior season in which he was 2nd on the team in groundballs (45). Scored 6 goals and added 4 assists. Named as the winner of the Admiral E.C. Waller Award given to the midshipman who contributed the most to spirit, morale and well being of varsity sports at the Naval Academy. Selected as a 3rd Team All American and Patriot League 2nd Team after scoring 22 goals and adding 5 assists as a Junior. Received the MacLaughlin Award as Navy's outstanding midfielder. Outstanding sophomore season in which he played primarily as a defensive midfielder. Named as an Honorable Mention All American, the first Navy defensive midfielder to gain All American status. Winner of the Lt. Robert T. Bianchi Award as Navy's Co-Most Valuable Player (alongside Matt Russell) scoring 13 goals and adding 11 assists. Was named Patriot League Tournament MVP. A three year lacrosse standout at DeMatha Catholic HS (MD), he served as a team Captain, was named the League Most Valuable Player and was selected as a High School All American on DeMatha's 2001 team which was ranked 10th in the nation.
